The Club plays at Ricketts Field, Whyteladyes Lane, Cookham in Berkshire and we field two Saturday league sides who both play in the Thames Valley Cricket League. In 2009, the first XI will play in Division 3b following promotion in 2008 from 4a, whilst the second XI will play in Division 6a, after a mid-table finish in 2008. For the first time in the club's history, a Saturday 3rd team is going to be put out in 2009. At the start of the 2008 season, the club moved to the Thames Valley League from the Chilterns League, which the club had been playing in since 1990. On Sundays, the club runs two friendly sides throughout the season, and occasionally even three sides are put out. Every year, the Club enter the national Village Cup comeptition and the Julian Cup, a competition for clubs in the Maidenhead area.
Cookham Dean are always looking for new adult members, both playing and non-playing, to help strengthen the club. Please contact Tom Bibby (01628 527165) or Andrew Millar (01628 520202) for more information.
In recent years, the colts section within the club has grown hugely, with six sides now being run between Under 9s and Under 17s. The club's colts have also been very successful, as many of the sides have reached the Berkshire cup semi-finals in the last few years. In 2008, the Under 13 side won the Julian Cup, the first time the club has done so since 1999.
New colts are always welcome to join, and to get more information contact colts co-ordinator, Ian Davis on 01628 850186.
