The Club plays at Ricketts Field, Whyteladyes Lane, Cookham (SL6 9EF) in Berkshire. In 2010, for the first time in the clubs' history, we will field three Saturday league sides. The first XI compete in Division 3b of the Thames Valley League, whilst the second XI will play in Division 5b following promotion from Division 6a in 2009. The third XI will join in Division 9. We are a progressive club who have made large strides in recent years, and in particular since joining the Thames Valley League from the more parochial Chilterns League in 2008, which we had played in since 1990. We also field two friendly Sunday teams throughout the season, meaning there are always opportunities for players of all abilities. Every year, the club enter the National Village Cup and the Julian Cup, an evening knockout competition for local clubs.
Cookham Dean are always looking for new adult members, both playing and non-playing, to help strengthen the club. Please contact Ben Millar (07854218194 or bennymillar@hotmail.co.uk) for more information.
In recent years, the colts section within the club has grown hugely, with seven sides now being run between Under 9s and Under 17s. The club's colts have also been very successful, as many of the sides have reached the Berkshire cup semi-finals in the last few years. In 2008, the Under 13 side won the Julian Cup, the first time the club has done so since 1999.
New colts are always welcome to join, and to get more information contact colts co-ordinator, Ian Davis on 01628 850186.
