Match report An attacking declaration by 1st XI skipper Ben Millar failed to pay off as Teddington Town eventually cruised to a six wicket win in pursuit on 265 at Bushey Park.

Cookham Dean batted first and Ben Millar immediately took advantage of the fine batting wicket. He looked set for a big score before being caught for 31 in the twelfth over. This brought Tom Bibby to the crease who shared a partnership of exactly 100 with Jon Stewart. Bibby made 41 before being bowled while Stewart followed up last week's century with 68. Clive Lambden joined in the fun with a quick 33, Rory Millar struck a six in his 31 not out while Tom Wells-Cole provided the grandstand finish to the innings with a brisk 44 not out that included six 4s and 3 6s as CDCC declared on 264-4 from 46 overs. For the hosts, Warren May picked up the figures of 0-19 off 15 overs, with all of the other bowlers receiving harsh treatment from the Dean batting.

Chris Nunn continued his fine form with two quick wickets at the top of the order but V Patel looked to take the game away for the home side with an aggressive century. There was brief hope for Cookham when O'Donoghue and Gandesha each picked up a wicket in quick succession but Dardagan combined well with Patel as Teddington Town picked up a comfortable 20 point victory by six wickets.
