Match report Cookham Dean 3rds lost their third successive game away to Datchet 4ths at Home Park to hand the home side their first win of the 9B season. Datchet won the toss and put Cookham in on a green wicket that looked likely to aid the seam bowlers. An outstanding catch from the Datchet wicket-keeper removed Alex Woolley for 4 early while Matt Wells-Cole (14) and Roger Evans (14) sought to consolidate. A collapse happened though as many Cookham batsmen gifted their wickets away. Jonathan Gay (21) was the only other batsman to make double figures before he was bowled by a ball that kept low as Cookham stumbled meekly to 96 all out. Beeby taking 4-16 for Datchet.

Datchet looked to win the game in quick time which gave Cookham some chances and John Smith, Mark Powell and Dan Matthews each picked up a wicket. The strong hitting of Ali (wearing a green jumper) soon ended the game though as he finished on 40 not out to guide his side to a seven wicket win.
