Match report Cookham Dean Sunday 1sts picked up an easy win after making the long trip to Cublington. Stand-in skipper Arun Brar won the toss and chose and despite Cookham losing Jake Richardson early on for 14, this looked to be the right decision and Patrick Castleden and Simon D'Ardenne set about scoring quickly. The two of them shared a mammoth stand of 196 before Castleden was caught for 142 at long-off. D'Ardenne speeded up after Castleden's departure before falling for 82. Mark Jones helped himself to 42 not out as he struck three 6s as Cookham racked up an imposing 309-4 in 40 overs.

After a rain break, Cublington were soon struggling as Isaac Richardson claimed two wickets and Mark Jones had W Lovatt lbw for 1. 16 overs of spin from Miles Offord and Jonathan Gay (2-36) kept the run rate down as the match clearly headed for an easy Cookham win. Youngster Stewart batted well for the home side, hitting well through the off side and despite a bizzare incident of the penultimate ball that saw Lawson run out, he managed to make his first senior hundred as they finished on 207 for 6.
