Captain : Jonathan Gay

Hard-hitting lower/middle order batsman and leg-break bowler and current 3rd team captain. Long time stalwart of the Sunday 2nds and current vice captain. Made seven appearances for the First XI in 2005 and 2006, striking 35 on his Saturday debut against Little Kingshill.

After a couple of years away from the game, Marky returned to cricket and has put in decent performances for the Saturday 3rds and Sunday 2nds. In his second game back, he made a fine 50 against British Airways.
Mark Anderson Member profile Mark Anderson
Mark joined the club in 2008 and turned out regularly for the Sunday 1st team. He bowls canny off-breaks and is a hard-hitting lower-order batsman. Highlights from last season include a spell of 4-26 against Old Berkeley.
Jamie Andrews Member profile Jamie Andrews
Jamie opens the bowling for the under 17s with his in-swinging medium pace. Throughout the years, he has had success with the ball which has earnt him the chance to play in the sunday sides.
Charlie  Bond Member profile Charlie Bond
Charlie played a handful of games for CDCC Under 13s and Furze Platt Senior School in his youth but made his senior cricket debut in 2008 in the home game against Hillingdon Manor. He bowled a brilliant spell of swing bowling with figures of 8-0-24-1. Charlie played regularly in the second half of the 2008 season for the Sunday 2nds, impressing with his bowling and taking a stunning catch at home to Eversley.

A young batsman with a bright future. Patrick played regularly on Sundays last season and will be looking to become part of the Saturday sides within the next couple of seasons. Struck his first senior century at the age of 14 for the Sunday 2nds at Holyport in June 2009.
Daragh Doyle Member profile Daragh Doyle
Daragh joined the colts system from Hurley in 2005 and has been a great player for the club. He is a left-handed bat and he has scored lots of runs, and has also taken wickets with his left-arm medium pace. Daragh is very reliable in the field and should be encouraged to continue playing cricket for the adult sides. He was captain of the under 15 side in 2006.
Roger Evans Member profile Roger Evans
A key player for the Sunday 2nds since first playing in 2004, Roger is an extremley reliable batsman and often figures towards the top of the averages at the end of the season. He also bowls medium pace cutters and is rarely expensive. Played for the Saturday 2nds in 2005 and is currently the manager of the successful Under 13 side.
John Gay Member profile John Gay
A regular Sunday cricketer since first appearing for the club in 2002 and has played for the 3rds in 2009. A strong hitter to the leg side and obvious lbw candidate, he has had to give up his slow left arm bowling. Club Secretary from 2003-2007 and father of Jonathan Gay.
Tim Hipgrave Member profile Tim Hipgrave
A regular Sunday 1st team player, Tim returned to the club in 2007 but has so far found opportunities in the Saturday sides limited. Whenever he is called up there is no doubting his commitment and he often puts in fine fielding performances. After talk of a high score being around the corner, Tim responded in fine style by smashing 78 not out against Wooburn Narks.

Lanky Aussie guy, Greg joined the club in 2007 and regularly turned out for the Sunday sides throughout the season. He bowls loopy off-spin and bats anywhere in the order, tending to score his runs quickly.

16 year old Michael has made a handful of Sunday appearances over the last three seasons, making his debut in 2006 against Egham Roses. His fielding in particular improved last season and he will be looking for more chances in 2009.

An all round player, known for not liking bowlers who bowl straight but will smash anything outside off to the boundary.  Applies his 6ft7’ frame to delivering medium pace balls which from that height can easily end up around the batsmen’s head.  Likes curry and beer.

Bertie is another up and coming colt who has performed well in his senior outings for the club so far.
Andy Millar Member profile Andy Millar
Father of 1st Team players Ben and Rory, Andy has captained the Sunday 2nds since 2007 and is also the current Fixture Secretary. He also had a long association with the colts and was Colts co-ordinator from 2003-2007. Can bat anywhere in the order and has been known to unleash his medium pace bowling on unsuspecting batsmen on occasions.
Seth Munn Member profile Seth Munn
Popular figure at the club since taking up the game relatively late. Firmly established in the Sunday 1st team, Seth has turned himself into a useful batsman and seam bowler. One game in 2008 saw him claim four wickets. Made one Saturday 1st team appearance in 2007.
Andy Murdoch Member profile Andy Murdoch
The Sunday sensation of 2007, Andy smashed his way to the top of the Sunday 2s batting averages after a number of quickfire 50s. The most memorable of these innings being an 80 not out against Holyport to guide his side to victory. Can also bowl useful medium pace and is a fine fielder. Made his Saturday 2nds debut against Marlow Park in 2008, scoring 30 not out.

I play for the u15s cricket team, have been playing there for 3 years now. Have been called up for the u17s side twice, and played in the charity game as part of the highlanders last year.
Andrew Partridge Member profile Andrew Partridge
Son of former First team captain David Partridge and grandson of Peter Partridge, Andrew is yet another product of the club's successful colts section. Plays regularly in the Sunday 1st XI where he hits the deck hard with his medium pace, infamously bowls a "heavy ball".
Isaac Richardson Member profile Isaac Richardson
Younger brother of Jake Richardson, Isaac made his Cookham Dean debut at the tail of the 2007 season and impressed many with his accurate seam bowling. Completed a transfer from Reading CC in 2008, which allowed him to make his 2nds debut later in the season. 2009 has seen him move between the 2nd and 3rd XIs throughout the season.

A talented all-rounder who has played at the club from a very young age. Aden has scored consistent runs and has taken wickets with his impressive leg-spin. His colts performances have earnt him a number of Sunday friendly apperances, although he is still waiting for his chance on a Saturday.

Noah starred for the Under 13s in the 2008 Julian Cup Colts Final, smashing a quick-fire 50 and claiming three wickets. This earned him a senior debut against Jordans Taverners and he'll be looking to add to this appearance in 2009.

Gerry joined the club in 2009 and has proved a useful addition for the Saturday 3rd XI with his lower order batting and seam bowling.
Paul  Taylor Member profile Paul Taylor
Known as "The Power" Paul turns out for the Sunday 2nds on a regular basis and tends to take the new ball with his lively pace bowling. Can also strike a few lusty blows low down the order. Memorable sixes have been struck at Freith and Penn Street in recent years.
Tom Wells-Cole Member profile Tom Wells-Cole
Tom joined the club in 2008 after finding opportunities at Maidenhead and Bray limited. He made his debut for the Saturday 2nds during an availability crisis and did well proving himself to be a fine fielder. He also played regularly on Sundays and struck a fine 76 not out againsr Chalfont St Peter. He also scored a century for the Under 15s against Wargrave, this is believed to be the only colts century in Cookham history. This innings ultimately led to him winning Colt of the Year for 2008.

Alex is another bright young talent who has so far impressed in his first few senior outings for CDCC. He's a left handed top order batsman and can also keep wicket.
